Product Description
Historical French casements, both in-swing and out-swing, are a SP Specialty. Whether it’s replacements for an existing set of French casements or restoring an opening that someone carelessly changed to another window type, SP can develop a solution that is right for your home. SP’s knowledge of weather-stripping and sash construction in concert with complete design flexibility enables us to offer a French Casement that looks and performs better, and in many cases is less expensive than other big-name window manufacturers. With flexible stile and rail dimensions, frame dimensions, muntin profiles, hardware and single pane or low-e glass options, the homeowner or architect can create an authentic historical window without compromise. French casements are available as arch top, radius or flat top. Blinds, draperies and other interior window treatments will need to be factored to work around the in-swing sash.
