Opportunities

We are currently seeking strategic partnerships in the following areas:

Product Installation

Because we’re the manufacturer, you can eliminate the middleman and provide your customers with premium SP products. Choose from a variety of SP’s unique products such as our popular wood combination storm windows, our window reconditioning system, historic aluminum storm windows and more. Your customers will be happy with the finished product and you’ll be happy with the incremental sales opportunities SP’s products provide. SP Windows Retro-Sash™ and RetroBox™ products may be of use in LEED certification or green building projects.

Specialty Subcontracting

Since we opened our doors in 2003, SP Custom Carpentry & Windows Inc., has worked as strategic partners with many other contracting firms big and small to handle specialty and window-related work. From high-end residential remodeling projects where we manufactured and installed specialty windows, to public rehabilitation projects like Nokoma, a limited-equity housing cooperative restoration in Minneapolis, MN where SP worked in conjunction with the project’s general contractor on window rehabilitation. We’ve been brought in as a strategic partner on the start of projects as well as someone called in to help meet a deadline or fix a problem. As a certified DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) and MBE (Minority Owned Business Enterprise) we are well versed in the reporting requirements and prevailing wage requirements and are happy to provide quotations for our products and services that meet your needs.

Historical Renovation

As a custom shop, SP Windows is well-equipped to work on historic preservation projects. In fact, products like SP Windows wood combination storm window are approved for historic preservation projects. If you are working on historic preservation and need a window supplier please contact us.

Airport Noise Mitigation Projects

Since 2009, SP Windows has been supplying products, installation and expertise to the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MSP) Sound Insulation Program. SP has several approved products in the Center for Energy and Environment’s showroom in Richfield, MN. If you are a contractor installing products in the 3000 homes in Phase 3, or are a contractor bidding on projects outside of the Minneapolis-St. Paul region, please contact us.
